This essay comparative analyses the elementary level part of these two textbooks to evaluates the advantages and disadvantages as a teacher by comparing theirtext, vocabulary,practice and writing principles, therefore, to provide some advices for textbook writers. The text aspect, text topics of the“Experiencing Chinese” and “Boya Chinese”are relatively rich, meet the basic needs of learners. In comparison, the text genre of “Boya Chinese” is more abundant, more variety.
