Study on the Relationship between Cognition Distance, Absorptive Capacity and Innovation Performance in Technology-based Alliance

Abstract: In this paper we reviewed the research literatures about technical learning and the knowledge creation in technology-based alliance, The key findings is that an inverted U-shaped effect of cognitive distance on innovation performance, then divides into the technology-based alliance the exploratory alliance and the exploitative alliance, and put forward three suppositions about the relationships between cognition distance, the technical capital and enterprise innovation achievements. Carried on the inference proof through mathematics method, and discussed how to conduct the real diagnosis research. Finally, proposed the research limitation and the further research direction.

技术联盟企业的认知距离、吸收能力与创新绩效的关系研究
摘要:本文首先对联盟企业之间的技术学习和知识创造的研究文献做了一个简单的回顾,认为企业之间的认知距离对创新绩效的影响呈倒U字型,然后将企业联盟分成探索型联盟(exploratory alliance)和利用型联盟(exploitative alliance)两种类型,就认知距离、技术资本等对企业创新绩效的影响提出了三条假设,通过数学方法进行了推理证明,并就如何进行实证研究进行了探讨。最后提出了研究的局限性和进一步的研究方向。
